Good news ! Things are right again in the technical world...IANTD is now in very good hands and headed towards an even greater future. And knowing you and Patti, that future may get here sooner than anyone expects. Now we can again all count on IANTD to lead and innovate and to do so smoothly with great customer service and the very best, quality programs for divers of all skill levels and needs. They are on top of cert processing. faxed in my new pin code based processing form. Had the CRr cert card in the mail within 7 business days.

They are also goiong out of their way to support the instructors and us IANTD facilties.

You may not be saying that IF you were living anywhere else in the world other than USA.

Running a technical dive agency involves far more than playing with the latest gadget given to you by a manufacturer. It involves supporting the people at the pointy end putting the students through the system with fast and efficient service worldwide.

Are you an IANTD Instructor your profile doesn't indicate that? I have been involved in IANTD at IT and ITT level for a long time and know that under Tom and Patti I have always got good service now for those people out of the US Your local organization and Instructor have a lot to do with the service you recieve as a student. Now if you are an instructor IANTD Austrailia or what ever country your from is the one you need to jump on first then contact Tom or Patti. Playing with the latest gadit is not something that Tom and Patti have been doing at the expence of customer service. Right now Patti is working 16 hors a day seven days a week to straighten this out. If I took your negitive remarks wrong then I'm sorry but watching my two friends working so hard to straighten up a mess they didn't deserve just hit me wrong.

Bear isnt an instructor but knows enough to speak with authority on this matter. It seems one of the tasks Tom et al didn't bother to do was organise insurance and as a result IANTD Australia has been hit hard. It is poor form to leave local reps holding the bag and having instructors geting upset witht them for things they aren't to blame for. My personal story is a very shitty one and IANTD are right in my shit books at present. They need to do a LOT of good work to fix things up that happened before and during this change of ownership mess.

Things outside the US are not peachy

I just spoke to Tom and there is a problem with insurance in Australia and Berry and John Witherspoon are working on it. I will leave the explaination to Tom who said he would give one later.

To keep up with some of the other agencis I think that IANTD need much much better student material on all levels, OC and CCR. Maybe this will be a restart?
For those other agencis that not can say that they were the first or the biggest I think they realy try hard to become the best. Thats why their material is far ahead of IANTDs material.

As Tom and Patti Mount are of impeccable reputation and character I would suggest that everyone give them a little breathing room to get things straightened out and back on track. As a consultant in such matters as they are experiencing I can assure you that the road between press releases is a bumpy one. In the mean time those of you with insurance questions should probably contact John Witherspoon of Witherspoon and Associates, 709 Black Horse Parkway, Franklin, TN 37069 (USA). Email john4@gs1868.com Telephone numbers 615-599-0334 or 866 577 3483. John is real good people and has insurance programs that I have not yet seen matched in quality or price. I also received a letter from them about a month ago stating that they are offering IANTD insurance programs.
