Which new forums - feed back needed

I think just the KISS principle is the way to go on the whole of Rebreather World.

The less forums the better, last thing I would want to see is something like Scubaboard, I think there is something in the region of 53 sub forums, takes you half an hour just to find the right bloody forum to put your post in.

how about having one additional catagory for now called "finding a dive buddy". This might be a simple alternative to trying to catagorizing every region, people could just state where they are in their post title. For those organizing a trip, maybe the general forum or travel forum is enough for now.

Thanks for thoughts - chewing it over but it appears we keep things as they are for the time being....

Oh and a reminder everyone fill in yoru location on the google map - as that does help people find local members.....

In fact what I shoudl be able to do is to have ana dditional section in the posts which show where in the world the member is making the post form based on google map info....

How about a dedicated vendors forum where vendors are allowed to hawk their wares, but not allow them to spam any other forum with adds and sales?

Or how about they purchase a banner and support the site then they can hawk all they like on the banner. and I dont have to scroll through them when I look at "new posts" ?

Advertisers are allowed to offer whatever they have or do, but not in multiple posts threads. We (mods) usually delete multiple posts. The exception being direct replies to inquiries in another thread. Spamming across the forum or by PM isn't allowed.

This idea would probably work well with Canada as well. Eastern Canada, Central Canada and Western Canada.

There is no need to create borders in this byte world. I think there are enough borders already. I am not romantic I really believe it is more convenient to separate Rebreather Trips / Holidays /Expeditions forum to
Rebreather Trips
Rebreather Holidays
Rebreather Expeditions
since for the readers the goal of the activity is more critical than the region

its a great forum ANYWAY
