Pursuit Software Update

We have released version 48 and would like all users to update their computers.

This version implements CE compatibility and supports SCR operation.

If you are a Pursuit owner and didn't get the update notification by email, please send us an email so we can add your to the distribution list.

The update is available on the website:

Hey Bruce, other than the SCR operation, what changes have been made ?

And no I did not not get email notification of any changes, please add me to your distribution list.

I going to have mine installed this week on my rEvo.
Have you any idea when you going to implement VPM/B(E) in the shearwater?

Frank,

It's not in the schedule yet.

The next two projects are the manual and the web site.

We have the basic CE electrical certification, but we plan to continue with more testing.

We are also considering fresh water and altitude settings.

Many of these items are only requested by a few people, where things like CE approval are important to a lot of people.

Bruce, I noticed that version 5.1 is available at your new website, that is good. But I still miss some kind of loggfile with every update so one can se what has been changed from the previous version. I am not requesting a novel or so, just a line or two. I hope it's doable for you.

I understand why you are interested.

The main reason that we don't provide elaborate explanations is that most of our customers aren't embedded programmers and really don't need to know that there is a new processor errata that suggests we reset the SPI port twice when initializing the DMA with write_only devices.

We do mention the user functionality side though. As soon as we have let the newsletter sign-up go for a few days, we will announce the update and explain what's new.
