Thankyou for taking the time to look at our data. The firmware was changed between dive 1 and the others on the post. The firmware is indicated on the bottom of the graph, the third graph is indicative of the PO2 maintennance upon ascent.
Injection from our solenoid gives about 15ltr/min, the injection timing can be altered by a gain setting in the software. The DP will be able to maintain life substaining PPO2 during an uncontrolable accent to a point. Defining an uncontrollable ascent could mean 100m/min, that would likely be impossible to acheive, but we will meet the requirements of the standard.

The quotes below are from EN14143.

5.7.2 Oxygen partial pressure setpoint maintenance

In apparatus with a fixed oxygen partial pressure setpoint the inspired partial pressure of oxygen shall be maintained within +/-

0,10 bar during constant depth phases of the dive.

During the ascent phase the inspired partial pressure of oxygen may reduce to a minimum of 0,5 bar below the set point but shall regain steady state set point within 1 min of halting an ascent.

6.7 Inspired oxygen level

When testing inspired oxygen levels, the dive profile shall be conducted with a descent rate of 30 m min-1 and an ascent rate of 20 m min-1.

Whe John and I set out to design the DP we wanted to make it the best it can be, without compromise. And that has been a double edged sword in that it has caused us some delays. We had planned to release the first batch before Christmas, but as ever, continuous development has led us to make some improvements that needed thorough testing by us, not our customers.
Right first time has to be our goal.
The software has had a few changes such as allowing the user to alter the parameters of the oxygen injection to tailor it to their requirements.
We have had formal gas flow analysis carried out on the system for work of breathing and oxygen mixing within the head cavity to ensure it performs perfectly at pressures upto 25bar. this has been very expensive and time consuming.
Almost all of the components are in stock for the first batch and we are waiting for one more component that is being developed specifically for us that we are really excited about. More on that when it is released, which we hope will be soon.

There will now be two variants offered, the "Deep Pursuit" and the "Altus Pursuit". The Altus will have an extended depth capability and triple redundancy with the addition of an optional second handset with full decompression.

We will have more information on the website (that I think you may have already looked at

It's all hard work and excitement at the moment. Manufacturing is under way as we speak. We also have test rigs to set up and validation to carry out on each unit. I'll be able to give you another update in the next two to four weeks with a delivery schedule.

Hey Brent/John,
I see you now have the Deep Pursuit listed on the Narked @ 90 website, does this mean you have units ready for delivery ?

Is the cell checker still available as an option for this unit ?

And last but not least, any chance I can get a seperate Shearwater 7 pin Fischer cable output (Beanie type) to hook up to my existing Pursuit ?
