Here is a picture of the items I received from Bruce apart from the T shirt.

Louis, the Deep Pursuit will have very different firmware than the standard controller. Our menu structure and features differ.

I can't wait to get one but is there an audible alarm on the computer? Not a a big deal as a flashing alarm is just as effective in dark water but I was curious.

No, audible alarms are contrary to the design philosophy of the Shearwater.
The backlight has a very high output capability, alarms are annunciated on the screen in direct text and the backlight will flash until suppressed.
The alarms are discribed in the manual for those who need additional info.

If your wise, you will also invest in the HUD which will give additional and independant PO2 display. The flashing becomes brighter when it gets further away from the ideal.

Looks like a great setup. My t-shirt shrunk after 1 wash, but the computers functionality more than makes up for a small shirt.

I don't announce vapourware, but I can tell you that Ross Hemingway and I have been friends and dive buddies for close to ten years.

I first approached Ross about a real-time V-Planner at the Deep Stops Conference in Tampa in 2003. We have been collaborating on several things since then. Shearwater Research and HHS Software have a license agreement in place and Shearwater plans to offer V-Planner Live as an option.

At Shearwater Research, technology projects have to be run by the engineers, and the sales force will just have to live with the release dates. That's why the engineers don't let the sales force make premature announcements.
