This is the way these forums will run.
1. Everybody will automatically have read-only access to the Megalodon users forum.
2. Megalodon owners will have posting rights to the Megalodon users forum, owners can join it from here http://www.rebreatherworld.com/profi...editusergroups or by speaking to me or any of the rest of the admin team.
3. Only Megalodon Instructors will have access to the Megalodon Instructors forum.
This will avoid a closed list atmosphere that I and the others believe would be exclusive and not to the benefit of you guys and gals nor in the spirit of our community.

This is great! I'm already too happy with my Meg purchase...looks like it's getting better!

I guess if the not-yet-owners have a question, they could always post it through an owner or a moderator by PM who would ask the same question on the forum!....just a thought.

Surely it would be the same as Leon or one of the intructors setting up their own mailing list so they keep the communication lines open and current.

This way the overhead and running of the system is carried by Rebreather World and the people involved can come to one location for their daily news/soap.

A nifty idea i think. Even better if other manufacturers would follow suit.

Yes certainly, it gives a one-stop access point for Leon and the Instructors to discuss matters that concern both parties, potential modifications, new products, training issues and the such like.

This information will not be for circulation as it will concern only those parties.

I just don't get it. Maybe it comes from the fact that I disagreed with Leon's idea of taking back the instructor certification in house as when it happened I was at an advanced stage of my Instructor course. I see the training issues can be justified (in the current ISC logic), but as far as potential modifications or new products, I don't see why it should be a restricted domain. I'd like to have access to these info directly form ISC and not from the word of mouth from Instructors who have been granted access to it not by their level of expertise but only by their decision of teaching the unit.
Well... this is my point of view... I'll respect yours and happily welcome this new forum. just regret this restriction.
