| Johnny The Hatch Current Rebreather/s: | Re: Looking for a Aquatek Voyager SCR/CCR I am sorry guys, but the picture above is probably the most ugly system i have ever seen. Looked at the website www.aquatek.eu and a fwe questions came to my head. The V1 Sport and the Voyager redundant have their bottles upright, so do i on my meg, but lookin at these pictures it does not look to me as if the diver has any chance to reach the valves. Specially on the redundant system. Another thing that i thought of is the size of the loop, 16lts? Have not measured the meg, but it sures sounds huge to me. I was also thinking about the overall quality of the unit, i have not seen it in person. But the build quality does look pretty bad to me. Out of the pictures i saw on their website, they would not get me as a customer. just my 2cents /Jonny

The original one "V1") has a loop capacity of 18 liters. The Dolphin has less than 7 liter. The azimuth i think is 12 liters. The kiss is standard with 8 liters. The CCR version came with three bottles onboard: two of oxygen and one for diluent. I didn't heard of a similar setup on any other machine.Last edited by gibbogeo : 3rd December 2006 at 00:24. |

| Who loves ya, baby ![]() Current Rebreather/s: | Re: Looking for a Aquatek Voyager SCR/CCR The unit I saw at DEMA last year came with a beautifully made knock-off of Gordon's pO2 monitor. ![]() Other than that I found the unit rather disappointing. Cables and hoses all over, bulky, scrubber not exactly impressive, sensors all over the place ...

In some other Bundesländer around there is diving in lakes forbiten so its not easy to manage rebreather here. Hope your YBOD will be functional soon. Holger

| Re: Looking for a Aquatek Voyager SCR/CCR Please specify those problems. Have you seen the rigs? Are just like any otyher rebreather? The company is not closed and was present at DEMA 2006 presenting a whole range of rebreathers, from simple SCR Voyager SPORT for recreational divers, to technical ones, CCR VOYAGER TEK and REDUDANT. Please do not speak about deaths (you are using an inspiration ....) and mostly do not mention the word KILL. That's really umpolite ... to be polite. Please report where does these voices come from. And feel free to visit www.aquatek.eu I'm Italian and own Inspiraytyion, Ouroboros, Megalodon and some SCR, bot not Voyager! Bye!

Hi Fabio,I'm Italian and own Inspiraytyion, Ouroboros, Megalodon and some SCR, bot not Voyager! Bye! Abosolutly agree. I already spended too many words on the Voyager! I don't really know about accident and I won't speak about them because we had accidents with others rigs too. About the Voyager, if you have good hand working capacity you can probably do some (many) modifications but in that way isn't better to buy something else? However I can just wish good luck to thoose who are going to buy one. Cheers Nad
