FS what country?

Would it be possible to adopt a convention to say what country/continent in the FS thread titles?
That way I wouldn't have to get exited when I see the ultimate widget #2 for sale, only to find out its in nowhere Australia...

You're in chicago - we have the potential to list where we are in our profiles. Just have a look at the first post. Seems a bit silly to have to repeat this over and over. If one isn't sure of where Hertfordshire, Markneukirchen or Mackay is, there is always google...

The original poster is correct. It is considered proper edicate in moderated and controlled lists to post where an item is located when offered for sale. If you do not wish to transact over seas then you can bypass those listings with out opening them. It would be much faster to browse the list. ie. FS:1 thing of value in my City, State.

On the other hand when you want to sell something and reach the widest audiance you may not want to make ir easy for possible buyers to dissregard your post.

i dont think its a City State type issue,

its more the country so you can see if shipping is realistic

ie i would buy from
UK,
but may look at France, Germany or Europe,
and only look at US if i really need it

Since Feb 2005 1022 threads in CCR for sale and 1280 in accessories.

That's less than one per day on average for CCR's and one per day in accessories.

Not quite as much a burden as ebay yet.
