WTB: Halcyon PVR-BASC

Hello,

Long time lurker (I think this is my first post) I'm looking to buy a halcyon fridge, anybody have one they want to get rid of? I'm not looking to spend much, and really need it for parts (unless its in better shape than the one that I have right now ; ) I'm in Seattle, PM me if you have something. Thanks!

there is one in sweden for sale to, if it´s not been sold in the last month.
Don´t know if the seller will ship to the US...

Hej Daniel,
I think he said he wanted a cheap one for spares etc...

The one in Sweden is VERY expensive as he has done alot with the machine.

I don´t know but 1,994 USD sounds cheap to me, but on the other hand i don´t know what they usually sell for.

Have you tried contacting Halcyon? Last I knew they still had several units in storage. In fact once during a factory visit, JJ showed me a room full of PVR-BSAC units and various parts for them. He was unsure what to do with it all knowing there was little to no market for them (the Rebreather-80 was already out), but also knowing that they had a significant amount of $$$ tied up in the units.

Might be worth a phone call...

The significant part would depend on how many units they have there since they only offered US$1,500 trade-in for Rebreather-80 in the beginning. And AFAIK even less later on.

The PVR retails close to US$8,000. I was glad to have sold mine early...
