Wanted!! Russain rebreather parts

I am looking for counter lung fittings which will enter-change with IDA 71 components. I am attempting to modify one of my IDA 71's without scrapping an entire unit to obtain fittings.

Re: Wanted!! Russain rebreather parts

I discussed this with Martin at Tecme a while back, but never followed it up beyond the "can you do it?" phase. I'd be curious to know if he can make them up and what the cost would be. If it would be cheaper to make a batch, there are enough people who own Russian gear/use Russian parts that we could probably gererate interest.

Which counter lung fittings? Some are reasonably straight forward to machine adapters for. EX.: I machined & used adapters that connected to the '71's breathing hose attachments that allowed use of large bore MK16 connectors. Just takes careful measurement, bit of lathe time, and patience.

Re: Wanted!! Russain rebreather parts

All Martin needs to do is to make the nuts, which are universal everywhere on the rigs. The spools can be made with ease on any lathe for particular applications. Martin would do well by making up parts for these, there's a huge market.

Re: Wanted!! Russain rebreather parts

Hi
Looking at some of these pictures, gave me an idea .. would the old dręger atlantis stainless steel parts fit?
There easy to fit on to a counter lung and easy to attach to ya shell .
