I am looking for either an O2ptima or an Inspiration somewhere in the Mid Atlantic/North Eastern US. Let me know what you have got and how much you are looking to get for it.

I can get you a new unit and do your training down here in Florida. Let me know if your ready to purchase the unit, takes about 2-4 weeks to get a unit from Diverite.

2001 Inspiration (Classic) Closed-Circuit Rebreather (CCR), good condtion, baclit handsets; dived approximately 100 times. Includes a medium harness, medium counter-lung, and DOT oxygen bottle (dill is original uk). It does NOT have an ADV or Micropore cartridge insert. Serial number of the unit is 1E104605. Price is $4000.

You have one post, no introduction and you confuse an inspiration and micropore? This looks odd to me. If you are legit, my apologies....

I would advise that you view the unit before buying it. But it doesn't seem suspect to me. If someone's also asking about the O2ptima they may well be interested in EAC's and there is an EAC Kit available for the inspo.

Not sure if MissBJ is genuine or not, time will tell.
However, and this is not a well known fact but there is an insert for a Micropore EAC made specifically for the Inspiration.

Yes i know that, but that was not something that was asked for in the advert in the first place! That is what made me suspicious.

MissBJ is genuine. I emailed him this thread link yesterday because I knew he had an Inspo for sale and he is located in fairly close proximity to the person who was interested in a used unit. I've seen the unit - its in nice shape. He's diving an Optima now which is why its for sale.
