Mk 15.5 for sale

Yes folks this is the real deal.

The unit is virtually new. Only been used in water for a few hours. A few scratches on the bottom of the case but otherwise as close to new as you will get -

Main Bits:

Has the new Digital Colkan secondary displays
Comes with both inconel spheres
Latest digital electronics that will support plug and play HUD
Has tighter setpoint control with the new board

This unit is ready to dive as is but for long term you will need to replace the milspec straps with a backplate/wing harness setup. Currently it does not have an offboard dil switch but this is not hard or expensive to do if you want it.

The unit is located here in Sydney and the all important question is AUD 14,500.

I already have one that I have built up and just can't justify two when I need a new scooter, and a bunch of other stuff.

Ok guys there has been a bit of interest - and every body wants photos so here they are - to try and shortcut the PM's

As you can see this unit is in great shape. If you know about these units you can see the plumbing is perfect - how worn out can swagelok and stainless get??

Spheres have no dents or serious scratches

As I said before it has new Colkan digital secondaries and a new 'latest generation' primary board. You can check with Colkan regards the upgrades should you wish.

No foam between the grid and the plexiglass cover ? apart from that I like the sticker on the cover

Seriously can you tell us a bit more about the new Colkan electronic pod ? only one set point pre dive ? or two like on the 16 ?

WOW I know almost nothing bout mk 15 units but now I understand ..black ,silver with BALLS .YEAH I WANT ONE !
MY dolphin looks like sh*t!

Yes I didnt put the foam in so you could see inside a bit but it will be shipped soon to a member of the list -

Jerome - the setpoint controller is still a single point controller - but the electronics have been updated to that they will accept the HUD which is soon to be released - we are just figuring out the best way to mount it. They also now control the set point in a tighter range than the "old" electronics.

The Digital secondary is also a fine piece of kit. You can now see the state of all the cells at the same time and it is a single button push to calibrate the secondary - ie soft calibration - no more fiddling with little screwdrivers. It also has a backlight function - especially good in those dark caves you seem to go in all the time.

There are some drawings being done now for a dual setpoint with an auto switch just like the Mk 16 (but better

)

The spheres are made of an exotic alloy called Inconel - Always nice to dive with big exotic balls

Currently the unit has been spoken for but the price is in a a previous post - AUD 14,500 if you dont want to scroll down - if the sale falls through I will let you all know
