Does anyone know if this is a valid auction or just another ebay scam ?

eBay: Buddy Inspiration Rebreather CCR (item 330045665403 end time Nov-03-06 06:00:50 PST)

The recent history looks good apart from being low cost items from the same people... that is interesting from a finding the bastard perspective.

Google on the serial number gives this - which proves it is bollox.

eBay Australia: Inspiration Rebreather (item 7203289444, end time 13-Dec-05 11:50:19 AEDST)

With so much recent history, I think a serious attempt to trace this person would be possible, the sellers of those items should also be considered suspicious (IMHO).

Much more likely to be a stolen identity than anything else. Finding the real person won't help to get the scammer.

Its listed at Droitwich which is 30 miles from me. Get the address and I'll check it out if anyone is seriously interested in it.
However the current bid of £7K is well above the new price!
