Mk 15 for sale

I have a Mk 15 for sale, which I had used for around 60 hrs. Sadly, I am busy with all kinds of other things and will not have time to use it as much as I like to. The unit is complete and comes with the folowing, ready to dive (after adding of the right gases and refilling the scrubber):

- Complete unit in working condition
- Internal tanks: Draeger 300 bar composite spheres with DIN valve
- Brand new Juergensen Marine fourth generation electronics
- Analog, direct reading secondary display for all three O2 sensors with snap hookup
- SS rails on either side for the attachement of outboard tanks
- Two Inspiration tanks with attachement hardware
- Two 300bar APEKS 1st stages for the above tanks, one with inflation hose to the BCD, the other to a backup secondary regulator
- SS 2 piece backplate for installation ease for transportation and BCD attachement
- Removable Black OMS 55 lbs double BCD
- 2in Harness throughout with SS buckle and D-rings
- Original military transportation box
- Spare Material includes two Swagelock waterproof quick connects, one quarter-inch braided Swagelock hose, some SS piping, original Navy harness, spare original first stage

No, KISSing is great, but I'd still have a mk 15(.5) in good condition, anyday!

Came close to buying one quite a few times but the availability of spares is, and remains an issue.

Gotta say a mint 15 is a nice piece of kit to look at, but too much work for a lazy ass like me. Composite spheres, interesting. Floaty.
Discuss that in more detail later.......

Sorry for the late reply business keeps me away too much. Anyway, the unit is still available. Spares, like what? O2 sensors are available, so are electronics, cables, SS plumbing from Swagelock, Solenoids and a lot of other components. Pretty much the only two items you need to be carful about is a) the counterlung, which should be handled carfully during removal for cleaning and reinstallation - no sharp objects nearby to nick it as rubber is very unforgiving and b) the gasket on the switch of the secondary display; handle carefully should you decide to open the secondary display for whatever reason. Despite this, I like the Mk15 because the counterlung is completely protected inside the unit and the separate secondary reads the sensors directly without ANY active electronics in between.
