Inspiration Classic's for Sale

Hi Folks,

4 Inspiration classics are currently available and they are located here in Ireland but shipping can be arranged.

They are 9 months old and 3 have medium counter lungs and harness and 1 is a large counter lungs and harness.

They are in great condition and have been well looked after by their owners.

4600 euro will secure but some movement may be possible for serious buyers.

Hi Folks,

I'm the owner of one of these units that Barry posted here (cheers Barry). In fact the pictures above are of my unit :-) One of the other units is sold and there's strong interest in one of the others. Anyway, let me give you a little more detail on my specific unit:

Purchased new late Feb/Mar '06
Medium Lungs/Medium Harness/Large Wing
Vision style sensors (coaxial connector rather than molex)
New evolution style clips on yellow cover, much easier to open when cold
13 hours total in water time (just checked my log book)
ADV
Fiberglass reinforced case base (prevents broken case when rolling off Irish RIBS!)
Lovingly cared for, never spent a night outside in it's life (much to my wife's chagrin)!

I'm looking for £3,200 or if in Euro land €4,750 and will split shipping costs with the buyer if in Europe & reasonable.

Good point DeepBlueInnovation, although I did get the 4750 for my unit in the end :-) To be fair it was difficult to put a value on the units as most second hand classics tend to be a couple of years old. In this case though I was in a rush to get a post specific to my unit added prior to running off on my hols with the family. Hence the little snafu on price, which worked out to my favour in the end! I could claim it was down to my superb sales technique but that'd be BS

Any way you look at it though €4,750/STG 3200 for something 8 months old with very few miles on the clock is a good deal, considering they appear to have all the modifications of the new vision inspo's (coaxial O2 connectors, new lids, over pressure valve on DIL/O2 regs, integrated pockets, new style jackets etc..) minus the new electronics.

As Eddie says there are now 2 units left (actually an offer on one at this point).

Hi Ben,

I think my original post listing 4600 euro was my own ballpark evaluation and not the sellers actual price, I received a phone call this morning from one buyer in France who is delighted with his unit and the price he paid for it.

The 11th commandment actually states;

"Bullshit Baffles Brains"

NB: All the refrigerators are now sold.

Ben, you could be right, I've been told by my American boss before that I can talk the hind legs off a donkey :-) I don't think that was a compliment though

Now selling a refrigerator to an Eskimo might be a tough nut to crack. Maybe trying to sell it as a heater would be a good approach ?

What do you reckon ?

Seriously though if you're interested in a 2nd hand Inspo, one of our groups original 4 units is still left I think
