Good luck at that price. Even with the extra cylinders. From what I hear, Shearwaters are being replaced with APECS at ISC if they are returned for service, and $8500 is practically retail. Why would anyone buy a used meg for full retail when you get a new one for the same price with a better electronics package?

Don't mean to burst your bubble, but lately there have been a lot of people trying to sell their Megs at unrealistic prices.

the shearwater is alot better then apex2. the shearwater has full deco software in. the apex 2 does not.

It doesn't really matter if the Shearwater has deco .... Most everyone has a VR3 they use anyway especially with the Meg.

I don't understand everyone bashing someone else's price on items they are trying to sell. It seems to be happening alot on here. If you have a concerned interest, like you're going to buy it, then pm the individual and negotiate a better price. If you're not interested in purchasing the item, whatever it is, why contend their price? Just food for thought...to keep posts from heading in a negative trend.

I think it does, having a computer tied into the cells will give you a more accurate deco time, furthermore I always carry the VR3 as a backup so I have two computers not just one to rely on.
