| Re: E-bay fraud again Sorry! This is indeed a scam. Looks like a legitimate ebay member had his credentials swiped. If I had more time I would scam the scammer. Lets see what happens. You mean fraud case? What that number mean? At this time I am located in Romania and I can only take the payment through Western Union money transfer. I will ship within 24 hours from the payment using the UPS Air Services so that you may receive the unit in less then 72 hours. For our protection we will do this deal trough ebay square trade company and our transaction will be supervised by ebay safe harbour team. You will be 100% protected against description error and fraud. I never make any deal outside ebay. I will pay the shipping and handling taxes. Thanks Last edited by teksimple : 29th August 2006 at 09:31. |

| Re: E-bay fraud again The high bidder is ignoring all e-mail warnings.....at 0 feedback he's an E-bay newbie.....I hate to see someone get screwed out of $3451, but anyone that dumb shouldn't be diving a rebreather in the first place. I sent E-bay a warning, but E-bay doesn't care, all they care about is their listing fees. I am sure the thief is using a stolen credit card too. Try typing in HDR-FX1, Sony's HiDef 3 CCD camera.......you should see all the E-bay scams for that high end big ticket item too, all asking for Western Union funds wire to some <SNIP> poisoning the gene pool in the country he is illegally in, always saying how the buyer will be protected. Who sent that e-mail to the scammer? And can we track down the real seller of the unit and who bought it to maybe bring this buyer to his senses? All 24 hour listings, all starting at 40 dollars. If you look at the other items they're selling, all big ticket items: power books, plasma tv's, ect. | Great news I am happy to report that the winning bidder is one of our own rebreatherworld members who shall remain anonymous unless he wishes otherwise. He said the fraud auction lister won't see a dime......notice he has 0 feedback with a whacked out member name...hmmmm, a sockpuppet bidder as a fraud auction countermeasure? I like it! Way to go! |

I wonder who that could have been?RebreatherDave deserves a pat on the back. He sent 5 or 6 emails to uckybelukfe to warn of the fraud. Uckybelukfe doesn't check his emails that often!I wish there was a better way to deal with these pr1cks. Aloha, Charlie |

| Re: E-bay fraud again Interesting screen name that new member had....I am not sure if I need to brush up on my pig latin or my pigeon English...or a little of both..... I have just changed my paypal account so all funds are drawn off my credit card. Seems as if I was just stiffed via a paypal payment for some software listed by, you guessed it, a [-------------] temporarily infesting the UK just before heading permanently back to, you guessed it, Egypt. Gee, these people stereotype themselves, no help from us needed. Paypal tries to make it difficult for people to do that, that way when you get stiffed, Paypal can pull out all their lame ass fine print so you get the added enjoyment of not only being screwed by the [-------------] representing the family of the late UNITA rebel commander Jonas Savimbi of Angola with a most confidential transaction earning you a commission of 15 million USD (fifteen million), but now PayPal has you bend over a 2nd time. I urge all who use E-bay to set up your paypal account to draw funds from a card, that way if you get scammed, just flip the bird paypal as your credit card company refunds you the money almost instantly.
