| Re: Importing from United Arab Emirates Machine Parts. Ship everything in parts- nothing together. Ship the electronics Fed ex or UPS. Shipping from Texas to Taiwan UPS Global- $150.00 estimated. You elec’s should be cheaper than that. If you are really serious get in touch with a customs broker. They do all the leg work for you. They receive it into their secure area and for a fee; makes your life a dream. If you get not joy PM me. I have a few people who might be able to help you. Best Regards, Andrew OK guys, I used to ship data… nothing more. ![]()

| Re: Importing from United Arab Emirates I have more Rebreather/diving things going around the world than most average people, and it is not a problem shipping anything from UAE. Or to UAE. Besides, it is best not to declare the content as "closed-circuit rebreather" either. Just declare as "used scuba diving equipment" to avoid curiousity. UAE is not a "typical" Middle-East countries like shown in the media (i.e. Iraq, Iran, Lebanon)... ![]()

Nurseling, ask the seller to put a small value on the pro-forma invoice (if he wants to do that, some sellers do, others don't), so you pay less import duties. Only use this tactic if you ship with a reputable shipper (like DHL, TNT, UPS).Another option is to travel to the UAE and pick up your rebreather in person. You get cheap flights and it's a fun country to go to (Dubai is the party city of the middle east). steven (edited: spelling) |
