Meg, PRISM and more for sale

Hi guys,

A sad decision was reached by me today; I have to sell a lot of my diving equipment. This decision has not been taken lightly as I am mentally committed to making a great recovery but I fear my body will have a big part to play and I have to face the fact I may not ever venture below 40m ever again. The bottom line is I have been spending most of every day for the past few weeks either in bed , at various doctor's offices or in machines taking pictures of my body and don't see me getting back in the water for some time and well to be blunt, I have bills to pay. I will hold off selling my other Meg until I know if I can get back into technical diving.

Well my loss is your gain and the following is for sale. All my gear is in great condition and I will take photos if required.

Megalodon CCR. Either full or stripped. APECS 2.01a Cordura lungs. I have lots of spares and bits and pieces. OR
12 month old PRISM with cowling and on BP and single piece webbing harness. (owner will sell to buy my Meg)
X-Scooter Sierra Model. new
VR3- Trimix CCR model with IR PC link.
Gates Housing and Sony PC-330 Video. Also Greenforce 10w HID Squid Lights x2. The whole lot in a Pelican case.
Solus SU-1000. new
Solus SU-500. used cave diving had removed some of the anodising.
Gates VSN-1100 Drysuit. Brand new seals. Will fit someone 195-205cm tall and 90-120kg. great condition.

May i ask what has happend? Is it anything related to deep diving and DSI's?

As a fellow rebreatherdiver,may I ask what has happened to you?
It would be a great shame to be forced to abandon a fantastic hobby like rebreatherdiving even though I hope and believe that you can find your way back.

I have had quite a few operations on my back and have been pushing it for the past few years. I have been told that my back cant really be 'fixed' by anything other than a fusion and a few fake disks. At the moment they can't operate due to the mess in there and the fear of mesing it up. Being 2m tall and 110kg really doesn't help. Such is life.

I had back surgery last year after two broken discs in my lower back and I feel brand new.....
I wish you the same.....hang in there...

complete shitty news on a Friday, Have you explored other options to the surgery ? Or at least prep for the surgery, I had a friend in the same boat a bit heavier then you but he hired a trainer/Pt and spent 18 weeks getting into the best shape of his life in attempts to prepare for a fusion , in the end he had no pain and canceled the surgery as recommend by his docs at that time.
