For those who are thinking about a rebreather I’ve done some fantastic dives with this, it really is an amazing piece of kit. I have used this rebreather with two high pressure 3ltr side cylinders mounted on a stainless steel harness. About the unit I have owned this unit from new and it is 3 years old. It has a medium harness and medium couterlungs. It hasn’t had a lot of use and has pretty much lay dormant for the last two years. Both handset housings and the entire wiring harness, including battery box etc were replaced by AP two years ago, since that time the unit has only been used for approx 15 dives, so the electronics are in near new condition. The handsets are not backlit. I had another diluent valve fitted to the diluent counterlung by AP, with the idea that I could use this with a side mounted cylinder without having to swap hoses etc. Both cylinders were hydraulic tested at the end of last month (the test certs will be included). Both pillar valves have been stripped and cleaned; with the oxygen one being ultrasonically cleaned as part of putting into O2 service. Although the oxygen sensors have only been used for about 20 dives, none of which were deep (over 30 meters), and calibrate correctly, as they are over 2 years old they should be replaced. Inventory of items: 1. AP Buddy Closed Circuit Rebreather 2. Set of spares including scrim cloth, all ‘O’ rings, maintenance tools (no interstage pressure gauge) 3. 1/3 container of softnolime (old – might be useful for pool work) 4. Two spare batteries Barbara finbar taylor <finbar.taylor@talk21.com> wrote: Can you tell me a bit about the unit please hand set backlit or not sise of harness sise of lungs age of unit last time back to the factory serial number also what payment meathod Thanks Fin Barbara Mckee <bexonel1000@yahoo.com> wrote: Dear finbar.taylor, I apologise if I disturb and won't waste your time with my offer but I saw that you are interested about a Like New Closed Circuit Buddy Inspiration Rebreather.
