| FS CCR/Dolphin Having recently purchased a megalodon rebreather I have a very cool Dreager Dolphin looking for a new home. It will be sold, configured as a semi closed unit ready to be dove by a trained SCR diver as configured by the factory. It includes dosage device with 3 standard orifices 40,50,60%, inhale and exhale counterlungs, DSV and breathing hoses, 19cuft steel heiser tank, cannister and 1st stage regulator. Also included is a scubapro airII and hose for bailout. Now the goodies! Also included with this unit is a stainless steel backplate for mounting to a bp/wing combo (TMIShop) , a black powdercoated aluminum shell (JDZ, some scratches but looks great), a kiss valve, an oxygauge PPO2 monitor (sensor less than 1yr old) and the special kiss valve 1st stage which consists of an apeks DS4 with jetsam industries IP block-off. What this means is, hypothetically of course, you have all the parts that would allow you to convert this rebreather to a fully closed air/trimix unit. This rebreather with BP/wing along with aluminum shell makes this a very solid and well balanced unit. With a Dolphin setup I would add 10lbs when switching between my doubles (85s) and the dolphin. This configuration allowed me to use the same weight and had very similar trim properties. This is not a thrown together homebuild and I have logged many happy hours with this rebreather. Everything works and it is ready to dive in SCR configuration and for CCR you will need to provide tanks (al 13s work really well). Takes about 1hr to convert. Although training for this unit as a CCR is not available through any agency, I took training on a KISS rebreather and found the skills translated well. The purchaser of this unit should be trained on a semi closed rebreather or should seek training prior to diving. I will be happy to answer any questions and will post some pics as soon as I get some. I am asking $3500 firm. __________________
