| Re: Trade for a KISS? Diggs M8, You still haven't answered the why question? KISS is a great unit but we both know the problems with diving it in crap high task load conditions is a PITA. However it has very little to go wrong and it does offer rear mounted lungs. The Inspo / Meg options are fine but they have issues as well. The borris is silly money and an absolute dog to travel with?? The question is what are your issues exactly and how much do you have to spend. Personally I think a YBOD with a travel frame or KT frame is a good bit of kit. and I hope a HH will make it a great bit of kit. As far as I am concerned the Meg is out of it until the Apex heads get CE mark and some hard core testing. ATB Mark Chase

| Re: Trade for a KISS? keep the KISS, but get ya spanners out on it, maybe get hold of a Hammerhead control. The Meg's nice but you still have the OTS lungs with that.

I know, its cool really Phi mate!![]() On a serious note though, I think that if some people have issues with kit that they should say it's shit. It helps everyone including the present owner of that kit in case he hasnt come accros the limitation which gives it such a poor reputation. I think a lot of people do take some personal offense when their kit is critisized. Why? I suppose its the same reason people compare kit to establish whose is "best". All rebreathers have problems, I think my message is "get over it" and do something about it. The reason for talking about it so, was that the guy I got the wing off just couldnt live with it. I had a word with Alex and re-set it up and been happy as larry with it. Makes you think there's more to it. My inflator is on the left?!?!?! Whats that all about! Brent
