This wing is totally different than the off-the-shelf ones I've seen with regard to the inflator position. I have no idea how it came to be so different, I've never bothered to ask Alex either. Very Big Ship or Very Big Sh*t ? ![]() It does have a shit load of lift when unzipped though, stick an outboard on it and you have a RIB!! Diff'rent strokes regarding most kit, especially personal ones like harness's. There's no way I'd call it shite though. I have had to modify it to fit counterlung attachement and the side mount 'D' Rings. I wanted it purely for the integrated weights, not bad for £115. I use it with an Abyss backplate. Works great with the Travel-Frame. The 3mm Stainless backplate weighs just 2lb. Hey, it works for me. I dont get excited or upset at people calling my bought in components 'shite'. Some of them might be! Brent.

| Re: Trade for a KISS? OK, basically the KISS is great because I get a clear chest area the likes of which you can't have with most other units at a similar price. Even an inspo with backmounted lungs isn't completely clear chest. I like the way it's made, far better than the inspo, and easy to strip and maintain. Paul, maybe the inspo with back mounted counterlungs, a BOV and a weenie frame is what I want. But then if I'm going to modify it that much why not get a unit which is better suited? But I can't think of one. I want the best of all the units out there without the price tag. Poo. If I got a Meg, nice unit, but nice price tag too, I'd have to wait a few years to save the difference in price, and knowing me I'd never get there. I spend money too easily, and saving kills me. Or, do I wait and wait and wait and keep diving the KISS and just get a Boris in a few years time? It feels like a waste of time staying with the KISS if I'm going to change anyway, but price is a factor. Christ, this isn't easy. Digs. |

Surely, you don't mean it's a waist of time diving the Kiss, do you? Once you'll get an eccr, first you'll do is dive it manually anyway Best Philippe |

Modify the shit out of an Inspo, with the addition of Pauls back lungs (neat job Is a MK/Boris really suited to what you do? Your welcome to try mine out, I'm sure Paul or one of the guys he has pimped out would also let you play too. Hey, what the fook do I know!!!! Brent. P.S. Dont get a meg, you lose the ability to do anything else than go around shouting MEG, MEG, MEG, MEG, MEG. Its a bit like being stupid, but your skint too. Just kidding ![]()

| Re: Trade for a KISS? Digs, Are you in the UK? Then maybe the inspiro would be a better choice $$wise. I am going meg for many reasons but one being that it is locally made (North America). And I get to pick up my meg next month. ![]()
