| So... I work next to Drager.... (just found that out).. they know that I'm a diver... and they are moving... so they brought me over like 15 BG174's... they're old (like pre 1975) however, according to them they work great... and with a little skill can be coverted to water use. I don't have the time or the skill to do this.. but for those who love homebuilts I'm selling them for cheap. They told me to throw them on E-bay for around $150... I need them gone... I'll take $75 plus shipping from area 90720. Email me, Frozensurfer@hotmail.com and I'll hook you up. Thanks. Brett |

This guy, who has no history here, just happens to work next door to Drager and they GAVE him some old stuff... and told him to throw it up on Ebay? Sorry- but this sounds more than a little fishy to me.Email me, Frozensurfer@hotmail.com and I'll hook you up. Thanks. Brett

| Re: Drager Rebreathers.... Cheap I,m going to go out on a limb here and speak for every one, well at least a few of us. You paid nothing for them and they are old , realy old . They need to converted and you want to move them. so I propose, you take a few pics and let us see what it is you have exactly. please take a nice pic of the ser#s for us. It means a lot to some of us. Were are you in relation to Drager? They are a service center only in your area and are not moving. Draeger Safety, Inc. 22010 South Wilmington Ave Suite 111 Carson, CA 90745 And the home office 101 Technology Drive Pittsburgh, PA 15275 Is a bit of a stretch for you to be shipping from the stated Postal Code. |

Sorry- but this sounds more than a little fishy to me. ![]() I'm with you on this one. The 174 is a 4 decade old design, they're O2 rigs, and Dräger isn't known for giving away rebreathers, much less O2 rigs, and least of all to unqualified people. Those things come up for sale every once in blue moon, JWB has a listing, too. But I rather doubt they come from the factory.
