I have Meg standard scubber & canister, want MINI set. Any Trade?

I am looking for a MINI-MEG canister and scrubber, to buy used, or trade. I have a standard MEG canister and scrubber in excellent condition. If anyone wants them, I could sell them or trade for a MINI-MEG set.

Please PM me for specific details and pictures, or to offer me a MINI for purchase.

Is there any particular Mini Meg canister color that you are looking to match?

Re: I have Meg std scubber & canister, want MINI. Trade?

I would feel fortunate to find anyone that has a used Mini-Meg canister and scrubber to sell or trade. So color is of little concern to me.

But, I would like to know if both Radial and Axial scrubber options exist for the Mini. Does anyone have a strong opinion about the choice of radial vs. analog for a Mini-Meg?

Yes the mini radial is available from ISC. I would highly recommend the ISC radial over the Golem. I tried the Golem before I bought the ISC (full size version) which I am very happy with.

I find the ISC easier to pack with springpac bottom. Because it fills from the bottom the center tube is not exposed during filling. The golem I used had a line of either tape or glue around the top which seemed to be there to prevent channeling if the sorb settled but it seems like a kluge.

Re: I have Meg std scubber & canister, want MINI. Trade?

There is no glue in the Golem Radial to prevent channeling. All surfaces are o-ring sealed.
Spring loaded bottom in a scrubber is potentially dangerous design, in my opinion. Every bounce on the boat or in the car disturbs the scrubber bed. This could be dangerous on the second dive when the sorb is aready caking and bounces can create channels in the scrubber bed.

Sure you want a Mini-Meg canister? Pretty small and it doesn't really make sense to to me to have a canister that is shorter than 13cf bottles.

You might consider the turned down "Cave Meg" can at the SCUBA Show. It's lighter and smaller than the standard and can take a standard scrubber or the 5lb radial. Leon says that is what he dives.

This looks like the picture I took at the Long Beach Scuba Show 2008. Nice looking rig.
There is another picture of this Meg if you go to Gallery, under, Rebreather events.
