RG UM F O2 rebreather for sale.
Includes a spare regulator unit ( Condition unknown) and a fill adaptor fitting (you will need your own whip).
The unit is is good condition but is in need of a new seal for the tank valve.
The scrubber has been modified to allow it to be refilled and reused.

I also have some IDA 71 parts for sale
2 unused oval scrubbers.
1 DSV and 2 sets of hoses.
2 IDA cylinders.

Im also looking for a DSV and hoses that I can fit to my IDA 71 so will be interested in a trade.

What price are you asking for it?
Can nitrox be used in the unit?
What needs to be replaced, fixed or repaired?

Why would you want to use a nitrox mix in this unit.
You would have to add gas every few breaths or so, you would need to add a O2 monitor and the tank would not last for that long.
If you want to dive deeper than 6m/20ft then this is not the unit for you. Actually this unit was never designed for diving at all. So a few modifications should be done before diving it.

Hi Martin, packhorse is obviously tied up so I'll answer for him - the unit is no longer for sale - 'cos I bought it!

Go to www.nva-militaria.de for a raft of RG-UF/Ms for sale as well as ideas for mods that you can do with them with them. They are a great little unit and yes, they can be turned into a mixed gas CCR (see the site above). A friend of mine dives one to the 1970's O2 toxicty limit recoemmend by BSAC(look it up

) . The WoB is quite high so I'm picking you probably wouldn't want to go past 20M when you've modified it. But for a scallop dive in the Manukau Harbour or a scenic dive at Goat Island - it's the bee's knees! Might even work as a pure O2 deco CCR for an OC diver!
