possible sale of Meg Shearwater GF head?

ok, I m thinking about selling my megalodon head which was originally a Shearwater...It went back to Bruce early last year and was upgraded to the Shearwater GF controller and HUD.

I have recently purchased a COPIS head as I think this is more suited to my diving; I ll never need trimix deco capabilities etc.

As I said just speculating at the mo, unless a good offer comes along

Would this float anyones boat?

Is that rust on the solenoid or just weird coloring in the picture?

I've decided to hold out for the Pursuit integrated head.

the whole solenoid is coated in some sort of epoxy...I hope it never goes wrong, its a pig to remove!

Bizzare. Did it come that way from SW or ISC, or did some prior owner do that?

That I cant answer, it was one of the original Shearwater heads, so before I even saw it, it went straight to Bruce to be upgraded to the GF head

ISC used to coat the solenoids with Epoxy.. This has been a common method of encapsulating snaptite solenoids (usually when they were going to be exposed to water)..
