Meg for Sale in Eastern USA

Hello,

I've decided to sell my Meg.

** Approximately 2 years old **
** New AI Sensors and Batteries installed April 2008 **
** Cylinders visual inspections Jan 2008 **

This is a standard APECS Megalodon plus the following options:

VR3 Mounting Plate on primary handset
Stage anchor mounts one on each shoulder and each hip
Dichromatic OD Green canister
Anodized OD Green Aluminum backplate
Deluxe Harness
Diluent Isolator Valve
TigerGear cylinder mount system
Set of 19cf Fabre Steel Low Pressure cylinders
Extra set of 19cf Fabre Steel Low Pressure cylinders
Set of TigerGear male mounts for the extra set of cylinders
Head calibration kit
O-Ring and hardware spares kit (Less on o-ring used)
Spare Battery
Spare AI O2 sensor
Pressure gauges in PSI
Diverite RecWing

The unit has been used and has wear and scratches consistent with normal use. Pictures available upon request.

$9,000 USD plus shipping and insurance.

PayPal accepted -- purchaser pays any payment processing fees.

Proof of certification or contact with your instructor needed before shipping.

Purchase will have to fill out the standard ISC waiver plus a similar waiver covering the seller.

Purchaser should have any diving equipment inspected by qualified individual prior to diving the unit.

I am willing to consider offers in the following configurations:

** Meg as listed: USD$8,600

** Meg as listed but without the tanks and mounts: USD$7,600

** Meg as listed but without tanks, mounts, backplate/harness/rings: USD$7,400

I have no desire sell it without also selling the regulators, VR3 mounts, STA, spares, sensors, or other parts of the primary package.

FAQ: Payment accepted in US dollars. Prices do not include shipping, duty/taxes, or funding fees. I have no idea what each country's duty/tax fees are. Wire fees are about $25, PayPal fees are 2.9% US or 3.9% international, plus 2% if a credit/debit card is used). Units will ship via fully insured FedEx international economy (5 to 15 days depending on location). Shipping costs ranges for international locations I have been asked to check range from USD$400 to USD$650 dollars depending on the configuration and destination. I can get more specific shipping costs and time if you provide the city/country/postal code of the destination. Complete unit will ship in four boxes. Yes, purchase requires standard waivers be signed. Yes, if you're not certified on the Meg I'll be more than happy to send the ADV to your instructor.

Hello,

I'm near Dulles airport in Northern VA -- just outside of Washington DC.

I expected it to move more quickly as well. I had some folks move towards buying it, with weeks of questions and request for details, but then didn't. The sale that DiveRite had moved quite a few people off the fence and dried up the perspective buyers.
