Ummmmm.....I think when I am ready to part with mine I will find the buyer in the UK. Fly over and dive Scapa and leave the unit. Thanks for the great idea!

It's worth thinking about, the tax hit on a new unit or even a 2nd hand unit from outside the EU is major. When I bought mine it was still cheaper for me to fly to BC, rent a car, stay in a hotel, pick up the Rebreather from Jetsam and fly back with it than it was to get it shipped and pay the tax.

In the end a used unit came up for sale in Cyprus so I flew there and picked it up instead (scheduled passenger flight was still cheaper than bloody BA's cargo charges!).

I guess I am just tight. I wish I could afford to come home and live in the UK. I am over next week for a few days and will end up giving Gordon Brown too much of my money.
