LDSOH Moving... Rigs for Sale (Mark-15, Azimuth, Many Collectables)

Yes, Truly: The Little Dive-Shop of Horrors will be relocating to better quarters at the end of the summer and I need to find homes for several (20 or so) rigs, as I'm too lazy to move them. I have my hands full moving a milling machine, lathe, compressor, etc... let someone else have fun with the rigs.

Partial list includes THREE MARK-15's! I'll sell two and keep one.

Fully upgraded Mark-15 with HH, HUD, and offboard gas switch valve and diluent manifold. Like New. Not in water after HH conversion. This is the only Mark-15 HH with a HUD and is the new Delrin handset. Any other HH Mark-15 will likely have the old metal handset, and none will have the HUD.

OR

Fully upgraded Mark-15 with Colkan digital pod, LED primary, offboard diluent and 02 manifolds, etc. Excellent rig in great shape. Internal 4th cell with cable for VR-3.

(I'll sell one of the above and keep the other, no strong opinion as to what to keep or sell... both are excellent and I'll keep whatever one is not sold first, as I'll always own a Mark-15. Each will come complete with spheres and adapters to Draeger Dolphin hose set).

Mark-15 #3: This is a "well used" daily diver with digital pod, etc. If you want to look like you have had a Mark-15 for 20 years, this is the one for you. Good old rig. You'll look salty with this one on your back.

FGT-1D with P-Connector, Swagelok valve isolated DIN output for first stage feed for bailout, etc., and (6) cylinders.

Azimuth complete with 4 cylinders.

OMG P-96 (modified)

One of each of every Russian rig (55, 59, 64, 71, 72, 76, AKA-60, etc)

Dolphin CCR project with SS Backplate (custom made for larger CL volume).

KIP-8 02 rig project.

KIP-8 intact (original)

RGU F/M in bag (these are getting scarce).

Collectables include Draeger Tauchretter U-Boat escape rebreather, Emerson Mark-VI 02 rig (US Navy), US Navy Mark-XI mixed gas SCC rig, DESCO 02 rig, English CDBA in box, fully functional DC-55 with a TON of spares, Collectable prototype DC-55 from 1955 in working order, Life Support Systems (England) prototype 02 rig (very similar to 02 only CDBA system), French Spirotechnique 02 rig, etc.

The DC-55's are interesting. One is a current issue rig, with a LOAD of valuable spares. The other is a 1955 manufactured prototype using some very different 1950's technology (duck bill flappers instead of mushroom valves, etc) that was provided to the US Navy for study. It came from the collection of a former EDU staff member who obtained it in 1960 when USN testing was completed.

Prices will be sensible, but not giveaway. This collection has been assembled over some 20+ years, and in the case of the Mark-VI and Mark-XI may be the only opportunity to secure a vintage US Military rebreather of that type. In 20+ years I have only seen (2) Mark-VI and (1) Mark-XI in private hands. The other Mark-VI was sold by me to a Japanese collector some years ago and this is the better of the pair.

This is about it for now. And for those who think I'm selling out... I'm keeping the *really* good stuff...

Dave

Re: LDSOH Moving... Rigs for Sale (Mark-15, Azimuth, Many Collectables)

Better digs in NJ (winters). I need a pool and the best way is to move.

Summer will always be in RI aboard EXPLORER.

Next move will be to a boat large enough to have an on-board machine shop with a milling machine and lathe, and an A-Frame big enough to handle a 17 foot Boston Whaler onto the deck. When I can wrangle that... sayonara to life on land. Look on the weather channel for the place on the East Coast where it's 85 degrees and sunny and I'll be there. Give that plan 10 years.

Dave

Very nice plan. I may steal that idea in the future.

Or do it in the summer too. Have the LFHOH sale. Little Flight Shop of Horrors. Sell a couple of the jets. LOL

But, I'd hate to sell those too.

Bull$hit! I have one

Actually, it's on my 15.5, but I think I'll move it to my 15 now.

Dave,

If you decide to sell some parts.. I'd be interested in the components for a 'Duncans new add system' for both Dil and O2 sides.. as well as a beefy DSV and some loop hoses =)
