Classic Inspiration For Sale - KISS BOV & Extras

I have a Classic Inspiraiton for sale. The unit was made in 2003 and is in great shape. It has a new-style case, medium counterlungs, backlit handsets, ADV, KISS BOV fitted with adapters (original DSV included). Unit has been serviced in past year and is working well. It has hardly been used in past year.

The unit is here in Hawaii. Cost is $4,500 firm, plus buyer pays shipping. I'll be putting it on Ebay if there are no takers on RBW. This is my buddy's unit, but I know it, and its history well.

I have also posted on Ebay. I forgot to mention a few other details in my previous post. I will cancel the Ebay listing if I get offers from RBW. Here is the description from Ebay:

I'm selling this unit for a good friend who is being deployed to Iraq. This unit is in great condition and has been hardly used over the past year because my buddy has been tied up with military duty. He has absolutely babied the rig. He has only put about 3 hours on it in the past year, and it probably has a total usage of about 150 hours. The oxygen sensors are from September and November 2006, so they should probably be replaced within the next 6 months, but all are currently working perfectly. I can get new sensors for the unit, but it will cost an additional $240. Silent Diving did a full lid service about a year ago, and they last checked it out about 6 months ago. The electronics are very clean and are in perfect diving condition.

The unit was purchased at the end of 2003 at DEMA. It has routinely been back for annual service, and many of the parts on the original rig have been replaced. As I said before, this is my buddy’s baby and he wouldn’t be selling except for the fact that he is getting deployed (again) to Iraq. There is a new-style case, which is a huge advantage over the original Classic units because the latching system is FAR superior. The old case had latches that would break often whereas the new style case is bullet-proof and easy to work with. My buddy painted the outside of the case black. The unit currently has medium counterlungs and harness, which is good for 90% of people. I can change them out to new large counterlungs for an additional $200.

Only for RBW members who don't buy through Ebay (that way I don't have to pay Ebay fees)!! And remember...these have the adapters which allow the KISS BOV to screw directly onto the Inspiration hoses. It is a very clean setup.

Sorry Guys:

I am suppose to be the one buying the rebreather from Chunter. Thats why he cancelled all the bids on ebay.
However, i called my instructor and ask him to email Chunter prove that I am going to be trained to use the unit and my instructor insist me of trying all his rebreathers(4 types) first before I make a decision to go for any particular one (since I am completely new to rebreather. And he will not teach me if I do things in the impulsive way (actually I have been on rebreather.com everyday see learn new info and check up for rebreathers for sell).
That's why i have to say so much sorry to Chunter and ask for his forgiveness for all the trouble and inconvenience I have caused. He even male several very long international calls to me to discuss the rebreathers and things I have to learn and take care of. He is a responsible and kind guy and I think I have to say it loud here to relief some of my guilt to him.

Guess the rebreather is still good for sell and don't hesitate to PM him
I will try out my instuctor's rebreathers first, decide which one to buy and then give Chunter a call or search the board for good deals again.
