The Orca CCR

An aka 60 Orca converted to mCCR.
Din valves on the tanks, KISS valve ala Sutton, apex fixed IP reg, scuba pro on the Dil side. Includes a pair of Kiss Breathing hoses, But no DSV. The counter lung has a P-port in it. I used a Kiss BOV, which is not included.
I dove with a 4 K1 cell donkey dick, and used a shearwater and a Munroe 3 display PPO2--These are not included.
So add a PPO2 system, and BOV/DSV of your choice, and you have a very functional rebreather. I have over 50 dives on it and never had a problem, I dove the U853 with it. It will knock the pants off a draeger. $2000 plus shipping.
I also have a pair of worthington 30 which are a perfect fit in the Rebreather no valves (you would need a pair of 180 Din valves--Inspo or Preece) $250.

Good Lord, PRC 47?
I thought they quit making those in the early 60's.....
I do remember playing with a PRC 77 and a PRC 12...left over from Vietnam or something back when I was in ROTC...

Dive safe,

Celia

Re: The Orca CCR

Kevin has dived this aboard EXPLORER and I can vouch for the quality of the rig and the modification. It's a good piece of equipment.

The rest of the pictures are at:

I will consider offers and will include a Ray DSV, and a donkey dick--you still must arrange for PPO2 measurement.

Re: The Orca CCR

Guys:

Somebody ought to buy this thing, as it's a squared away rig. Kevin brought it out from Chicago and dove it with me aboard EXPLORER on the U-853 and it's all set and ready to go. The only thing is that Kevin saw my rEvo on that trip, and the rest as they say is history. Kevin is now one of our team members for the 2008 "Explorer Offshore Campaign", a 9 day exploratory diving trip aboard EXPLORER that we're planning and is a good guy and a trusted friend. I'll vouch personally for his rig to any buyer. It's a good KISS system CCR. Cylinders are fairly large, so it works great if you are using a cross-fill system out on a trip: Either diluent or 02 side can be used with only about 100 BAR and you'll still have loads of gas. If anyone bought it and did not want the Russian cylinders, give me first dibs on them. I'll also train a buyer and certify under RSDAS if needed.

$2000 for a fully functional CCR? Jump on it.

Kevin, if you do decide to Ebay it, send me a note first.

Dave
