| Re: finance an inspiration Oh man --- you know guys that dive Megs but you still want an Inspo? I guess to each his own. I don't know about financing an Inspo, but you can for sure finance a Meg! On a serious note, I have a buddy that went to the bank and got a loan for a 'recreational water craft' -- there was a lot of grey area, but none the less, he got his financing approved and got a unit. There might be shop specific financing available -- who are you thinking about buying your unit through? Have you asked them? |

| Blogs Admin / Forum Mod ![]() Current Rebreather/s: | Re: finance an inspiration 2 years ago I bought a 2nd hand Inspiration, rather than spending big $s on a new unit. If you look carefully and have a bit of patience, I am sure you will be able to find a reasonably priced unit. If you can't afford a second hand unit, I'd rather wait and save money, than finance something that just costs money, and more money, ... My 2c

| Re: finance an inspiration I just got a really nice Inspiration Second Hand. My advice would be to find an Instructor first. They will be able to help you find one new or second hand. Mine was £2500 with basically a new head just back from AP. When you find one give the guys at AP a call with the unit serial number and they can give you some history etc. I would rather go S/H than get into finance. It will always cost you in the long run. ![]()

And i am very happy with that. A Meg is at this time to expensiv for me but i think it is a better rebreather than the inspo. It will always cost you in the long run. ![]() I think about a finance too, but it is very expensiv. So i safe my money and buy a used. Cheers Markku ![]() |

The North American supplier of the inspiration "silent Diving Systems" does offer FACTORY reconditioned units.... They are arround half the cost of a new one.... but they are factory reconditioned.... so the unit shuld be trust worthy... and not maintained by some nut job.... I do not know if they are classics or if they have the Vision electronics .... but I would start with Silent Diving Systems.. Silent Diving Systems of North America and as a Meg diver I am distrought over the fact that I have rendered aid in the quest for a YBOD. |

| Re: finance an inspiration That's why the Inspiration is called 'the yellow box of debt' I suspect that soubriquet could be applied to all the units with the colour changed as necessary :-). The thing about it is that buying one is only the first step and the first expenditure .........
