| Re: Drager LAR-V for SALE It appears to be in great condition. Everything looks great. The tank has some minor scratches as does the shell. The tank looks like it might have been re-certified in 04 but I'am not really sure. It looks like nothing is missing. From the little research I have done there is a vest that can go with it but I do not have that. Some had metal cases that they came in and others had a wicker basket. This one is in the wicker basket. Once I finish the research on it I will post a price. Thanks |

| Re: Drager LAR-V for SALE Hi Whatever, Could you please post an introduction of your good self HERE? That way people can get an idea of who you are before deciding about your LAR-V. Also it may be beneficial to post some photos too. Welcome to RBW. Cheers, Dave Cooper.

| Who loves ya, baby ![]() Current Rebreather/s: | Re: Drager LAR-V for SALE One thing that usually raises the price is proper documentation of legal ownership. Dräger restricts the sale of LAR units to governments and some goverment contractors. "Liberated" government property can be a rather ... risky proposition. ![]()

| Re: Drager LAR-V for SALE One thing that usually raises the price is proper documentation of legal ownership. Don’t understand what is this restricted to governments and military? My collection must make me a Republic then? There must be more LARV units with more dictatorships, kingdoms, democratic who know’s what between the LarV and Coca Cola you can’t tell who has bigger sales. At a guess RBW members alone have more LarV’s than Senegal, Sierra Leone and Mozambique put together.Dräger restricts the sale of LAR units to governments and some goverment contractors. "Liberated" government property can be a rather ... risky proposition. ![]() If it’s in the older wicker basket it’s over 10 years old and may need NR valves as for value better to see a photo of what you have, Guide it about where the Dolphin is, manuals are pretty easily available including the larger workshop manual for the USN Mark25 variant, that includes the regulator servicing info. Draeger may be a tad reluctant to supply spares but there are ways around that even without an arms limitation control act. |

| Re: Drager LAR-V for SALE Good luck with your sale. Yes photos would be great, but make sure you show all the working parts there have been some sold minus the breathing bag or regulator so most buyers will be aware of this and reduced there offer accordingly. History is interesting but not essential, your photos will verify, take them next to a current local newspaper, so we can verify its authentic state, and yours. Bought as seen as far as the working condition should cover you, but all the parts have to be included to cover us. There have been a number of scams so you understand RBW members may be reluctant to part with cash before you show some traceability. At the very least get another diving member to verify you. |

How much is this worth? How much is it worth? if its one of the old ones with the green bottle (20+years old) in OK shape, I have seen them go for $1500.00US but then I had a LAR VI 1988 go for $3800.00US so it depends who is looking at the time. |

| Re: Drager LAR-V for SALE Here is a link to a web site I set up. There are a bunch of pics of the unit some with todays paper to prove that it is real and I have it in my possesion. Draeger LAR V or LAR VI After some more research I think it coud possibly be a Draeger LAR VI instead of a LAR V. Please review the pics and let me know. Thanks Rob |
