I personally still think doing this is insane (but this is my personal opinion), nevertheless looking at the dive and result only it's a major achievement. Even better that they made it back to the surface in one piece ( must have been pretty cold with that leak ;-) ). Cheers, Paul |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Recod Dive during Dynamic Dive Exhibition Lago Maggiore In all fairness I think going to 220m or any depth isn't really that hard (in fact you don't even need equipment at all). It's the getting back part that determines the outcome. In MY opinium the big achievement is in doing this kind of diving with high probability of a good outcome. Alpine style solo diving with just a Boris could be one way to do it if all goes well. To do it with a higher probability of success even when facing problems you need team-effort, logistics, planning and probably a lot of things that I can't begin to imagine. to anyone pulling of such a complex operation.

An incredable acheivement. I bet those two mins at max depth were the longest two mins ever. As for the 222 by Rick? Wow id love to see the comparison for the planning and logistics on that dive. ![]() | Re: Record Dive during Dynamic Dive Exhibition Lago Maggiore Congrats and the greatest respect. My personal limit for depth is much less than this and I have the greatest respect for anyone that has the big steel balls to do them. And having recently done a relatively shallow dive to 115m on a wreck and had to sort out the relatively simple support for that, I can't even begin to fathom how you organised this. Amazing. But you have to admit that the eggs benedict thing was very funny. ![]() Mike |

| New Member Current Rebreather/s: | Re: Record Dive during Dynamic Dive Exhibition Lago Maggiore Hi guys, I'm here just to give you some dive dettails, soory for my bad english!!!! The plan was generated with VPM B/E +4, descent rate 23mt/min, ascent 20mt min from bottom to 150mt and 8mt min from 150 to the habitat at -21mt. We have used trimix 6/80, setpoint 1,4 on bottom and 1,5 from 150mt. In the habitat at -21 we had switch on Tx 50/20 on open circuit untill 12mt and at 12mt switching again to 100% O2. My bottom time was 4 minutes and all the 3 Boris was perfect with wery high performance. Sandro actually stay better and his vestyboular DCI is going away using aggressive recompression protocol! I hope that this few dates could help you! All the best Mario

How did you made to put it in -21 mtrs and did you elevate it from -21 to -12mtrs? You were three inside so must be quite big... Best for Sandro. Mikel
