Likely you are being ignored because I've been enjoying dinner under kerosine lamps aboard EXPLORER for a while....

Back now for a bit and EXPLORER is going into a shipyard period for a bit to sort out a propeller shaft and transmission issue, so PM me and I'll revisit the work and get a system built.

Best,

Dave

Re: Andrea Doria Trip

Hi Dave, Pete,

I'am looking forward the Doria Trip this year. I will bring with me and dive my newest toy the TR300c. It's know in the secend stage and will be last testet in two weeks on wreck diving in croatia. If it works as defined it will give me some more duration so Achim and me can stay some longer in deep.

here just a few pictures from a narrow lake last week.

now the TR300 line is complete, TR300 V3/V4 as SCR/CCR with a bellow counterlung, TR300c with two back's as counterlung and a thermal protected scrubber with 3 kg ( 6lbs) of sofnolime and the light weight TR300sc with two bag's and aprox. 1,3 KG (3 lbs) of sofnolime. Every rig has its own design and it's own possibilities and use.

Pictures and more can be found at

regards
Holger

Yes, very soon, as evidenced by me leaving my personal voltage converter for my next visit!

I have before I ever dived a CCR been admiring this setup, and I have pestered Dave by email like you wouldn't believe

I just wanted to hear from someone else than myself and Dave that this system rocks - I allready have some parts ready, and have been through lots of the McMaster-site for the rest......

Nicolai
Nicolai

There is no doubt that it ROCKS, like you, I am also pestering Dave non-stop

This system effectively puts an end to endless re-configuration of offboard/onboard gas supplies, particularly for manual backmount counterlung rebreathers. I absolutely love manual rebreathers (and until recently kept a clear separation path between onboard and offboard) but Dave's system facilitates the capability to dynamically select variable gases on the fly, both to OC/DSV and CCR, meaning there is now no need for messing about with switch blocks and inflators.

If you think this system is good, you will also love the Mk15 set up (pic attached). Mk15 series has been my ultimate desired weapon of choice for years but we have difficulty getting parts in UK, that is now set to change also!! Due to time constraints I didn't get a chance to dive it on this trip but next time....in July....I already cannot wait!!

Diver Dave's "Ten Ways to get AM back to EXPLORER":

(1): Give her great diving for a few days and then show her what a Full Rhode Island Gale looks like (50 knot winds).
(2): Promise that we only get one Gale a year and that there will be no more blow-outs for the season.
(3): Train her on the rEvo. Make sure it's all adjusted for her and then memorize the adjustments for her next trip.
(4): Provide her a Mark-15 and promise that she can dive it "next time".
(5): Mention that she can play with the CIS Mark-5P when she returns as well. Threaten to make her choose between it and the Mark-15.
(6): Let her play commercial diver on the bottom of your boat (thanks for the wheel job!). You ought to see this chick wield a sledgehammer!
(7): Tell her she can make her own offboard gas setup in the LDSOH when she returns.
(8): Steal her IPod.
(9): Give her a Grundens commercial fishermans hat and then make sure she forgets to take it home.
(10): Keep her voltage converter so she knows her hair dryer will be usable next time.

Life is good! July will be here soon.

Dave

One has to wonder about boat captains who ply our female members with Mk-15's...
