EUDI Show 2008 - What was new?

Just returned from the EUDI show in Rome and I though I would share a few pics and some information about what was new at the show.

SNSI had the 'Space 40' a Semi Closed unit that is aimed at the scuba market for divers with some open circuit experience but who would like to maximise in-water times and get the most from the available gas whilst minimising decompression.
It offers a fairly novel design that appears to be well though out and the Ansti Test results seem to confirm it is a unit worthy of consideration costing about 1,000 Euro complete with BCD & regulators and it may be a viable bailout breather with minimum mods to get you home. SNSI

Aldo Ferrucci had the Copis Meg and the new stainless steel scrubber canister. He also had some amazing underwater film footage from his upcoming movie. BUBBLE or NOT BUBBLE Technical Diving Nitrox Trimix Rebreather Plongée

Roberto Bodin had the Liquid Vision dive computer and the new MPS Mini Booster on show along with a new PPO2 monitor that also tracks depth, time and flow rate that is available with a HUD option from October this year.

Simon Pridmore was ever present at what must be a record for attendance at Dive shows across the world for Delta P / Vr3 and laterly CCRB / Sentinel CCR that have now sold more than 80 units even before the much awaited deliveries start later this month. Closed Circuit Rebreathers VR3 and VR2 Dive computer from Delta P Technology

If one of the mods could give me a hand to format the pics properly in the gallery I would appreciate it!

format wise stick them in as big as you like (well OK max width 2000 max filesize 1MB)the gallery will do the thumbnails and medium images on it's own.

Hi Nad,

I am sure we can meet next time and I believe the EUDI show is in Rome again and then Genova the following year.
