| Re: Our World Underwater Is there any point in trying out a rebreather in a pool that is 4 feet deep? Besides knowing how much lead required to sink, not much... ![]() May be you will see a tiny bit of difference between WOB when you are "glue" to the bottom of the pool, roll to either side, flip on your back, etc. Make sure your relative position is the same between units. Keep in mind that it will be difficult to notice the difference between units unless you already have dived one for a while and are used to how a CCR breaths. The one thing you will definitely get from the experience if you have never used a Rebreather before is how different it is to breath from taking a breath off an OC reg.

| Re: Our World Underwater That is true...I could also get in some mouthpiece skills, but I am hoping to avoid the 4ft pool there and go someone place deeper, albeit 9 feet. There may be a misunderstanding here. I was not talking about trying an Rebreather in that pool but just mentionning that I will be there if you want to stop by. To my knowledge, it's not opened to anything else than to discover scuba, mainly for kids.Best Philippe |

I am trying to setup a rebreather experience and the person I contacted was curious if a pool was going to be at OWUW for convenience...whether or not that is possible to use is a whole nother issue. ![]() |
