Oxygen in Bonaire

Heading to Bonaire in early Feb....I need a little information


Where can I get oxygen (preferably a tank holding enough to download to my smaller bottles.....I have a travel booster.....

Rec Tek Scuba Bonaire - We do it silent. We do it deep. Techincal diving. is with Walter Stark @ Habitat. And the Plaza has O/2 also. Used them both in the past.

I will be there in early January, diving with "Toucan Diving". I was told O2 and sorb are available on the island. Toucan Diving requested a few weeks advanced notice to order the O2.

Tom, if you head to the Plaza/tucan divers (which would be my back up plan ) ask for the manager and and collect 240.00 usd ( camera issue )
for me for the next RBW party . they owe me and have not made good on the debt. So if you ask for the the manager say it a payment for Billy Beal . then just paypal it into rbw ear-marked rbwparty 07.

See Walter , he can get you covered ,but try to collect for me ! and go see Will at Will's grill ask for the ribs a few days in advance then return for a mouth watering experience . tell him I sent ya

Hi Tom,

Last time I was in Bonaire I stayed at Deep Blue View with Menno. Great small resort BTW. I bought my sorb from Walt. I got my O2 via Divi (Welcome to Divi Bonaire). Ask for Serge (dive manager) or Roger (technical director). I filled up 2 Nitrox bottles from Menno (80 cuft) and used those as buffers. You need to preorder O2 and sorb.

Try to do some dives on the East coast, the Wild side. Big waves but big fish as well. I had an interesting encounter with a large Tiger shark last trip.

If you're into wrecks, try to organise a dive on the Windjammer. It is a beautiful wreck. It sits in 200 ft. This dive is now closed for shore diving. It is only allowed via boat as a guided technical dive. Walt can organise it. He uses Menno's boat (nice RIB - Deep Blue View, intimate resort. Dive Bonaire in the Dutch Caribbean).
