| New Member Current Rebreather/s: | Yes I know Gib pretty well and its great for diving...go see! Trouble is the 2 dive shops there cannot get O2 because the Spanish authorities are doing their best to be as unhelpful as possible to the Gibraltarians...so no Nitrox fills and no Oxygen either.Maybe the Malaga dive shops 60 miles up the road could help, but don't rely on it! Any further info, just ask! |

| RBW Writer ![]() Current Rebreather/s: | Thanks I've got in touch with a local centre "Dive Charters" and I'll be going there for some dives (OC). As I pretend to be there for 4 or 5 days, it would be impossible to carry enough O2, even if sorb was not a problem to take with me. Do you suggest any special diving spots? Sue |

| New Member Current Rebreather/s: | A good place to start for an acclimitisation dive is Camp Bay with a shore dive wandering round the various sunken barges and boats...there are about 10 of them including a newly sunken lubrication barge all between 10 and 22m.This is where Buster Crabbe trained his frogmen[WW2]lots of life, pretty wrecks, safe and easy but enjoyable.... The Rosslyn off the harbour mole [boat dive] is really a wonderful dive being a very large victorian freighter...huge open swimthrus with walls of colourful sponges and masses of fish, light and colour!About 12 to 23m The Excellent is basically a huge upturned hull but with an unmissable bowl to stern swim thru, again just off the mole and a small boat dive...24 to 30m,watch your computer! Another nice dive, especially at night are the 'Seven Sisters' with pretty U/W topography! Lee |
