Buddy pair needed for liveaboard sailboat trip Palau Jan 23-31

I have been tossing this idea around for a while: chartering our own private boat to dive Palau.

Perhaps you might be interested? My buddy and I can make this happen if we have another couple join us to defray the costs, Jan 25-31 2007 on the Eclipse sailboat in Palau for six days of all you can drink diving. The four of us would decide where to go and what to do.

Price: $1650 per person.

If you are interested, please let me know! I will arrange helium and O2 and bring a gas booster. If you have SkyTeam alliance miles, this is the good time to use them. 40,000 miles is getting me a round trip to Palau from Honolulu.

Good idea but with a sailboat, with scuba gears, he, etc...? Because of previous experiences for such trips I would go for a catamaran: bigger, more confortable, stable, etc. This is what I'm going to do in a couple of days: Martinique - Grenadine - Grenada - Martinique.

Cost: 1500€ (flight & boat) for 2 weeks.

However enjoy the trip. Palau (never been there) alone is a good reason for some sacrifice...

OK, I am bagging it, maybe for 2008. I have decided to do a CCR trip here in Hawaii, on a boat that I actually own. Thanks for the feedback, though.
