Jutland 7th-20th July 2007

Hi,

I am in the process of putting a trip together to dive the wrecks of
the Battle of Jutland next summer. Most of the trip details are listed
below. If anyone is interested in this trip let me know. Anyone who is
interested please private message me your email address so I can get
up a mailing list up and running to send out further information about
the trip. I will be looking for deposit around Monday the 16th
October. I will send out the account details by email to anyone
interested in the trip. Please let me know as soon as you can if you
are interested in this trip as I want to confirm numbers with the
skipper as soon as possible. I am based in Ireland myself so I will be
organising ferries for the members of the group travelling from
Ireland.

Boat Details

The boat is 36m long, very heavily built and has capacity for 12
divers in superb accommodation. The name is Ocean Dancer and it is
based on the East Coast of England. There is also a chamber onboard
and the boat comes complete with 4 crew, 2 of which are trained
Chamber Operators. Food is catered on board.

Duration
I have talked with a number of people who have dived the area before.
They all were of the same option that the more days you can stay in
Jutland the better the chance of having a successful trip will be. One
of the main variables on a trip like this will be weather. The longer
the duration of the trip the better the chance we will have of diving
on the wrecks. The general censuses about planning a North Sea diving
trip is that an 8 to a 10 day trip works best. I have listed below 2
options for the trip duration. If you are interested in this trip let
me know which of the options would suit you best.

Option 1: 10 Days Diving £1,910

Option 2:
8 Days Diving £1,590

(All prices incl. Diving, Accommodation, All food while diving)
- Gas will be extra

Trip Outline
This is an outline of the 10 day diving trip.
8th July – Meet in Grimsby and sail to dive site
9th July – Diving Day 1
10th July – Diving Day 2
11th July – Diving Day 3
12th July – Diving Day 4
13th July – Diving Day 5
14th July – Diving Day 6
15th July – Diving Day 7
16th July – Diving Day 8
17th July – Diving Day 9
18th July – Diving Day 10
19th July – Sail back to Grimsby

Payment
We would need a 25% deposit to secure the charter. I would like to
start collecting deposits for the trip in mid October. The payment for
the trip would work along these lines.
October 25% Deposit
November 10% Deposit
December 5% Deposit
January 10% Deposit
February 10% Deposit
March 10% Deposit
April 10% Deposit
May 10% Deposit
June 10% Deposit

I am planning on setting up a bank account which will allow people to
transfer money into the account each month.

Thanks,
Barry Mc Gill
