| Travel Insurance for RBs Twelve of us are going to Egypt next year. Can anyone give me any guidance on insuring Rebreathers for travelling? I'm sure they won't be covered by standard holiday travel insurance. Thanks Pete |

I'm sure they won't be covered by standard holiday travel insurance. I'm insured with either Divemaster or Westlife. I switched from one to the other last year and I can't remember which way round it is. The nice thing is they cover me for accidental damage in the UK too, so if some muppet drops a tank on my handsets I'm covered for that too.Depending on how much kit you have, it may be worth joining BSAC. That gives you 10% off, so if your yearly insurance bill is £400 or more (it is for some people I know) you save money. Janos |
