Were to go diving with Inspo - 2007

I am thinking of planning a couple of weeks away next year and a looking at booking it soon.
I am only looking at long haul, Egypt is out.

I was thinking of either doing my Mod 3 to qualify me to 100m so would have to be a PSAI outfit or have an instructor who can teach it.

or

Doing a cave/overhead course. Possibilities include Mexico or Florida ?????

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Two rebreather events for Apr/May next year include Rebreather Week at Pirate's Cove in Dominican Republic and InnerSpace at DiveTech in Grand Caymans.

Hey buddy,

You can try Protec in Mexico, the caves are amazing down there and Protec has everything you need for rebreather dive. If you want references ask Nick, 'nmanfield', from UK he had being there with me last year and really enjoyed his time down there.
If you need any help to decide about hotels and places to dive down to Mexico let me know and I'll help you.

Hello Ivon,

Pirates Cove Dive Center in the Dominican Republic is a full service CCR dive center. As you where just informed, in April we will have back to back rebreather and wreck weeks with represeatives from all the major manufacturers, as well as a host of knowledgable guest speakers. We will have two solid weeks of diving. If you are thinking about something different, we offer more wrecks than I can list and a cave system that continues to reveal new and exciting discoveries. With Virgin systems being found almost on a weekly basis, According to people that know more than I, about the subject. When the Island cave system is ultimately explored it will probably become the most extensive cave network in the Americas.

A complete rebreather week article is in the issue #23 "Advanced Diver Magazine", as well as a great wreck article in the new "wreck Diver Magazine."

All the information you need can be found on our web site piratescovedivecenter.com

We have all size CCR bottles available and a truck load of sonfalime to ease your travel experience.

A few weeks ago my friend and college IT Juan Carlos was at my place in Belgium.
We are working out a plan to do some nice diving ( for a group) in Mexico or Cuba, bout places where he works as full cave instructor.
Would be for November 2007
Another friend of mine is now working in Malaysia as manager in a dive station. The have wrecks… deep dark wrecks in gin clear water
I keep you informed, or if you have people interested, please let me know.

OK, the other half fancies Mombasa, I have had a search but can't find any centerers that are rebreather friendly.

Does anyone have any info? If not what about the Indian ocean, any were but Maldives, she is saving that one

John, we have done Dominican quite a few times but thanks for the info, may get out to rebreather week in 2008 by my self.

Dived in Kuredu in the maldives last year Pro divers they are setup for rebreathers.
