| Fuente azul cave (Spain) -128m, with a happy Boris Fantastic dive in now the deepest cave of spain near Burgos, beautiful shaft and galleries on a 100% working color/VPM Boris Only problems: - carrying the damn thing over 1/2km through the woods - bladdy narrowness between -7 and -15, moved latterally like an egyptian, scratched a bit - no vis on way back on deco (great backscreen light of the color screen) - decided to swim downstream the river (instead of walking back) to reach my van through the rapids, unfortunetly very shallow, sweat like hell So will have to come back to continue the exploration with a Side Mounted Boris, cīmon Kev !!! Many thanks to Kev, Jason, Tim, and Nick for the last few weeks help on the unit. PS: No photos yet of the Fuente Azul spanish expedition But photos of Boris going up a lader and going caving in Portugal: http://www.snoopyloop.com/Alviela/Photos.html where unfortunetly I broke my thumb Jerome (off diving for the next 4 weeks, the doctor said |

| Re: Fuente azul cave (Spain) -128m, with a happy Boris congratulations on a serious dive! For future safety reasons, stay away from closing van doors! Hope you are healing quickly so that you can get back in the water! Regards, Randy |

| Re: Fuente azul cave (Spain) -128m, with a happy Boris Congrats Jerome! Never thought I'd see the day when you had stages marked DIR style! Good to see your Boris case is even worse scratched than the Mk15.5 ![]() Cheers, Stuart

Sounds like a nice picnic!!! You should better dive on a deep wreck if you like pain, sweat and problems. Caves are for girlies Good job anyway. cheers

From the looks of it I would say this was a work up dive to the Mescla Cheers!! Kevin |

| Custom Title Allowed! ![]() Current Rebreather/s: | Re: Fuente azul cave (Spain) -128m, with a happy Boris Jerome, Why the wood to the stages ? To slide them on ? When are we going to see some more pics? Well done, on this forum you can read about some fantastic dives, especially if bussy carry your kit, remeber that after a big dive you cannot make big efforts, they should carry you like a babay to your vehicle Looking foward for some pics ![]()

| Re: Fuente azul cave (Spain) -128m, with a happy Boris Hey guys, thanks for the funny comments Sorry Stu, I moved to the Dark sIde of the aloy tanks but they aRe so light uw ... ok and so heavy out of the waterNo wood on the 18 lit O2 but foam to make them neutral to avoid sinking with them when I carry them from the surface to -12m ![]() 20s didn't need foam due to the amount of helium in it: 6/94 and 12/88 perfectly neutral uw Cedric, lets make a pool a bout what's the worst: 1) lader up & down, tyrolienne, rope work, carrying equipment, banging your head, sweating like a pig ... but then having 30m vis in 18 deg water w/out current or 2) hell of a moving boat on surface, pulling the rope to go down, no vis, shitty current, washing machine decompression ? ![]() G'day Jerome |

Yes, but a cable and pulley to cross that pit would be much better than carrying it across on your back, standing atop that piece of railroad track. Climbing down and crossing that scares the hell. It is even worse when I am carrying gear. The problem is how to deal with a decompression incident in S3 (other than don't have one) regards, John I agree getting bent at S3 would be bad news. Realistically, getting bent anywhere inside that cave would be serious bad news. Cheers!! Kevin |
