KAIROS CCR expeditions in Tanzania May 2007

Have you ever dreamt of taking part in an oceanographic expedition ?

The Kairos Company organises 4 to 5 diving expeditions a year, each spanning a two or three month period, with a real mission, a goal you’ll help achieve as part of a team comprising the Expedition Leaders, the technicians, and the crew, all united in the same spirit of adventure.

Each expedition is divided into periods of 10 days, enabling you to bring your own stone to the final result. You will be given the opportunity to act as a scientist, an explorer, a discoverer, and will never forget it

In 2007 The KAIROS Company organizes 2 CCR trips in Tanzania in May 2007 :

May.14, 2007 – May.23, 2007 Coelacanth Expedition 2
May.24, 2007 – Jun.2, 2007 CCR @ Pemba / Zanzibar

I just can say it was one of the most memorable trips I have done. Great ship, service, and diving. If you go take a bit of extra time to see Zanzibar Stone Town, NgoroNgoro or Kilimajaro ......

hi all

I have make a rebreather expeditions last year in December with Kairos company.

It was super, rebreather, nitrox, trimix, all on the boat.
very good dives , from daar es salam to Pemba .

Hi All,
The Coelacanth Expedition in 2006 was an experience of a lifetime, gin-clear water, great wildlife, reefs, drop-offs. The night dives are out of this world, you won't find it anywhere else.

Great to do training as well on the trip, support systems & people are the best you can find. Banked Nitrox, O2, He and tons of sofnolime on board.

Where in the world can you find the pub and the chamber so close to each other

Even saw a rebreather diver walk on water when I came out of the pub. Couldn't believe my eyes.

I am booked for Oct 2007.

Hemmm… Taking part in an oceanographic expedition in Tanzania. Diving with CCR’s, looking for Coelacanths in gin-clear water, encountering great wildlife, reefs, drop-offs, out of this world night dives, and, not to be excluded, an interesting boat filled with equally interesting people. By definition, an experience of a lifetime.

Anyone interested in seeing that as a feature story in the Underwater Journal? I would!

Actually I was thinking about my own publication, the Underwater Journal (www.underwaterjournal.com).

Doesn’t cost any thing to download or require purchasing a subscription, and I think a lot more people will have a chance to see/read it. Since the launch of our première issue Dec 30, 2006, more than 85,000 copies have been downloaded, with more taking place everyday.
