| New Member Current Rebreather/s: | Wreck Russalka, Gulf of Finland I wonder if there is further information concerning diving in Russalka? As far as I know this wrech is found/governed by the The Marine Museum of Estonia even though it is located within international waters. The wreck is located bow down in the bottom and the propellers facing towards the sky and I'd like to see its one day! Any information would be valuable. Andrew-John

| Re: Wreck Russalka, Gulf of Finland I know that there were also finnish divers and sidescan sonar operators involved in the finding of the wreck. In that sense someone also has the coordinates, but they are still kept under the lid. Would be nice to dive it anyway. From what I have heard the sea bed is at around 75m and the aft of the ship was somewhere around 40m. I have also heard rumours that the wreck has broken in two pieces after its finding. The aft part has fallen to the sea bed. JH |
