| Re: Hawaii Jim at Konaaquatica was very accomodating towards Rebreather's, and his boat was great for tech style diving. On the Big Island, you have great access to many shore dives that can get deep relatively quickly due to the volcanic nature of the islands formation. Have fun...can't wait to go back. -Bob |

Saw his “shed” and yes, obscene amounts of ‘sorb Since I am the only one on the island who does either closed circuit or trimix, I dive solo from my modified Waverunner. Fathom Five promised to accomodate closed circuit divers on regular charters as soon as I write a standards outline, which I am working on. Probably only recreational depths with the exception of say, Deep Pinnacle, which is a black coral encrusted seamount at 180'. That would require a custom charter, which is very reasonable. For now the deep walls off of Kauai, Niihau and Lehua are all mine! Definitely more technical oriented charters at Konaquatica or B&B Scuba. . If he’s not around, Fathom Five has a nice O2 system that, I think, is just a cascade but will mostly get the O2 job done.Hey Kent- how’s the broken leg doing? Have you found a way to dive w/o melting the cast (if you even got one)? Very best, Ken |

| Re: Hawaii [quote=UWSojourner]Hi Patti, Was on Maui in January. B&B was not useful...quote] I can not imagine that happening... Before I even knew Brad I was able to arrange a Trimix dive with him. I have dove with B&B many times, last time was Mar 2006... 2 MK15's, 1 Optima, 1 Evolution, and 5 YBOD's. Seemed pretty accomodating... though in fairness I should add that it was for a class. I would recommend giving B&B a try if you're on Maui, or in some cases another try! Hoppyinca |

Hey Ken - Very best, Ken The knee checked out OK, which is why I celebrated and bought the '06 Waverunner. The weather is so nice for diving here, now, its hard to get out of the water! |

| Todd Winn VP NSE Current Rebreather/s: | Re: Hawaii I'm with Hoppy and second B&B for diving Rebreather on Maui. Truth is you need to talk to the owner (Brad) as he is the only CC rebreather savy guy in the shop. We have plans together for a 300' wall on Wednsday. I trust him. He runs a tight show. Enjoy your vacation. |
