| want to dive the south California... Hello, I live in the North of California (Sacramento), but I would like to come to see the beautiful colors of the South of California towards L.A : Catalina Island or Channel islands... ![]() I dive with an EVOlution and I envisage 3 days of diving. I boggle to take a hotel on the coast and book 3 consecutive 1day boat diving, or to make a cruise 3 days on a boat. ![]() I look for a “rebreather friendly” boat, which could refill tanks with “clean safe” air (or trimix ?), and which would refill pure oxygen (otherwise I have take S80 of oxygen for refill by myself, by transfer if they accept ?). ![]() I would prefer a cool schedule with 2 or 3 dives a day but during 1 hour 30-2 each, and without changing 5 times from a spot to another spot every day. What do you recommend to me? If somebody has already planned it in March, I shall be very happy to join him. It will be a pleasure to dive with another rebreather-diver. What I found on the forum and on Web, lead me to select these cruise ships : SCUBA Schools of America > Home Second Stage Ocean Sports Diving Charters, Inc. - California Scuba Diving on Liveaboard Dive Boat Sand Dollar PSALTY V Adventures - Private Yacht for Charter in Southern California thanks for you help, Mickael |

Can they bring me to casino point when i am ready to dive, or I have to walk with my rebreather, my bailout and all the stuff ? What kind of dive is Casino point ? You can see the same things that with a boat dive ? How deep is it (I can swim, but i will not rent a scooter) thank you M |

| Re: want to dive the south California... thanks, it's a good option. Sea Port village is a reasonable, very dive friendly place and will drive you and your gear to the stairs (10' from water) pick you up, take you to the dive shop for fills and then back to the hotel as part of their service. If diving during the week they have great rates plus you have the whole place to yourself.why this hotel is better than the other one ? How deep is it (I can swim, but i will not rent a scooter) thank you M Casino Point is a nice dive spot with about 3 wrecks within the park and another outside the park that you can reach (with a rebreather) from the park. You could dive there for about 2 days and then do a boat dive on the third if you get bored. I highly recommend it if you have never dove Catalina before. Thom |
