Great pics, good to know you had a fab time!

We're off to do much the same thing in March on Typhoon. Saw you were in wee-suits, sorry, wet-suits. How was the water temp? Did you have any issues getting chilly - on deco or towards the end of the week?

Seem to remember someone suggesting wearing a shorty under a steamer for warmth, any suggestions?

Cheers,

BB
The water was between 19 and 23 I got a little nippy after about 40 odd minutes not too bad and I'm, shall we say a bit of a skiny runt.
Definatly don't need a drysuit like some people are sugesting

By March you should be fine. It was just on the nippy side in a 5mm on the Rosaile Moller which seemed noticeably colder than anywhere else, and a 7mm or a drysuit would have been nice (although a bit ). A 3mm hood was good too, although by the time you get there hopefully not necessary. We had some 90 minute dives where I only got cool not cold. I think Beanie woudl have been fine had it not been for the excessive flushing ... good if you piss in your wetsuit a lot though!!

You need to put on weight! Another 8 or 9 stone, then your suit would fit properly: mine does!

Re: Outlaw Red Sea trip January 2006

Finally the epic trip report is now up and live from the Outlaw's Red Sea trip at the end of January/ beginning of February 2006, aboard MV Diamond.

The trip report can be found HERE

If you have any questions, comments or feedback on my essay please drop them in here and we'll try and answer them as best we can

We're still sorting out the images, but some of them can be found at on the Outlaw Divers site. I'll get some formatted to drop into the article over the next couple of days.

Cheers and hope you enjoy!

Lou

Nice article Lou. I really enjoyed reading it. It brought back memories of our wreck trip in January.

Thanks for posting.
